Bill O’Reilly Says Beyonce Doesn’t Empower Women And Should NOT Be On The Cover Of TIME Magazine

Bill O' Riley let it rip on Beyonce when he told ET's Rob Marciano about Beyonce's Time Magazine cover of the annual list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World.

When Rob asks the host of the highly rated FOX News show The O’Reilly Factor whether he thinks Beyonce is a good role model for empowering women, he responds, “Beyonce empowers no one but herself.” He adds: “She is a brilliant artist — a gift from God. I heard her sing The Star Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl and it was smashing.”
But Bill took issue with the R&B star’s approach to producing music and performing for fans. “She must know that what she does, young girls pay attention to. Therefore, if she puts out product that is licentious, permissive, that’s gonna bleed down into the children. I say to her, we expect more. You can put out good product, uplifting product, and be as successful.”
“I really don’t think Beyonce has to put out this kind of stuff, I don’t think it empowers anyone, I think it’s a rationalization, but that’s just my point of view.”
When Rob asks Bill if he agrees with Time’s decision to put Beyonce on the cover of its Top 100 issue, he responded, “I have no beef with Beyonce being on a list or making money or being whatever she wants to be. America’s a great country that gives people, talented people like Beyonce, the opportunity to be successful.”
The TV host added: “But I wish she would listen to me. President Obama initiated “My Brother’s Keeper,” it’s a fantastic program and I hope Beyonce will look at it and help it… When I see someone talented who I think could help the kids and isn’t, then I have to step in.”
Do you think Beyonce empowers women or just does all her activities just for money alone.
