Celebrities You Did Not Know Were Black

CAREY WENN

Some celebrities have being able to pass as racially ambigous characters both in movies and in their daily life. This list brings together celebrities you will not ordinary view as black or people with African descent. However a look at their paternity proofs otherwise. They either have fathers or mothers who are of African descent and if we follow the one-drop theory (Google if you do not know the meaning), they are black. See picture after the cut.

RICHIE WENN
Nicole RichieWhile Lionel Richie isn’t Nicole Richie’s biological father, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a dose of chocolate in her blood. Richie’s biological dad Peter Michael Escovedo was Afro-Mexican. She also possesses Creole and Spanish ancestry.
MILLER WENN
Wentworth MillerWentworth Miller has that whole rugged Caucasian guy thing down pact, but there is more to him than meets the eye. Miller was born in England to a black father and a white mother. His family later relocated to Brooklyn, NY where Wentworth was raised.
JOHNSON WENN
Dwayne JohnsonDwayne Johnson just couldn’t be as fine without a little mix in his DNA, right? Johnson is actually part black and part Samoan.
DIESEL WENN
Vin DieselVin Diesel identifies himself as a “person of color,” but what color exactly is he speaking of? Diesel’s mother is Scottish, English, and German but he never met his biological father. His stepfather is African American though.
CAREY WENN
Mariah CareyWhile Mariah Carey may seem to forget a lot of where she comes from when it comes to manners and being nice to us “common folk” one thing she has always been proud of is her unique familial blood line. Her father was of African American and Venezuelan ethnicity while, her mother is of white Irish descent.
